Hadi Choopan has announced that he will not compete at the 2026 Mr. Olympia, ending his run of seven straight Olympia appearances.
The former Mr. Olympia champion was preparing to return with what he described as a bigger and improved version of himself. However, his plans were suddenly disrupted when he was stopped from boarding his flight to Dubai. He was told that his UAE Golden Visa had been deactivated and that, due to the current political situation and restrictions, he could not enter the UAE.
Because of this, Hadi missed his scheduled U.S. Embassy interview, making it impossible for him to complete the visa process and travel to the United States in time.
It is a heartbreaking setback for Hadi, especially after months of hard work and preparation for the Olympia stage.
