WHO NEEDS A CAR WHEN YOU HAVE TWO LEGS?

On Saturday, 29th August 2026, some very serious people decided to travel from Lusaka to Chongwe using a rare and highly fuel-efficient mode of transport, the Jesus way: FOOT TRANSPORT!

After all, Jesus used to travel by foot, not by bus, car or taxi! So these guys decided to follow the same ancient transport system one foot in front of the other… FASTER!

Some covered 31KM, others 21KM, while some wisely negotiated with their legs and settled for 10KM!

But this was not just travelling. It was training with a purpose, getting those bodies, lungs and legs ready for bigger running events ahead, including the ABSA Marathon.

This Jesus way of travelling was organised by Lusaka to Lusaka 2 Chongwe Runners in collaboration with Chongwefit Community Club .

Because apparently, when runners say “Let’s go to Chongwe,” they don't mean “Let's take a bus.” 🤣🤣

Run. Walk. Sweat. Laugh. Repeat. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️🔥
