Meet the Alterra

We’ve been working on this quietly in the background for the better part of a year, and it feels good to finally start sharing our progress.

Using the new Avinox system gave us the opportunity to take a unique design approach. The goal wasn’t less power, it was to build something that keeps the bike feeling light, clean and removes a lot of the bulk that’s crept into full-power e-bikes.

Here are some of the details:

• Full carbon frame
• 150mm rear / 160mm front, mullet only
• Avinox M2 and M2S options with 800Wh battery
• 110Nm and 130Nm models, with 150Nm bursts on M2S
• Weight: 20.5–21.5kg depending on build
• Models starting at R105K (exchange rate dependent)

The bike is currently in development and we’re continuing to refine it on trail. Pre-orders will open in May, with first production bikes expected around late August.
