The Witz Barbarians would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Khanyiso Owo-Oko and West-Lee Uithaler on their selection to the final Sanlam Boland U/21 squadat the tender age of 18. What an incredible achievement and a reward for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the game.

You have proudly represented yourself and your family, and we have no doubt that you will continue to make us proud in the black and gold jersey. This is a testament to the sacrifices made on and off the field, and an inspiration to every young player coming through our ranks.

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค Witz Barbarians Family Stands with JP Fredericks ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ–ค

Today, our thoughts and prayers are with one of our young warriors, JP Fredericks, as he undergoes surgery this morning.

JP suffered a serious injury during Saturday's rugby match, fracturing his skull in three places. While this has been a difficult and challenging time, we know that JP is a fighter both on and off the field.

JP, be strong, stay positive, and know that the entire Witz Barbarians family is behind you every step of the way. Our prayers are with you, your family, the surgeons, and medical team. We have faith that the operation will be successful and that you will make a full recovery.

Rugby has taught you courage, resilience, and determination โ€” qualities that will carry you through this challenge.

To the players who unfortunately missed out this time โ€” remember, this is not the end. Never doubt yourself or allow one setback to define your journey.
