Potchefstroom Military Cycling Club at the Knysna Cycle Tour

This past weekend, two members of the Potchefstroom Military Cycling Club proudly represented the club and the SANDF at the Knysna Cycle Tour Mountain Bike Race.

The event offered challenging trails, breathtaking scenery, and a fantastic atmosphere, making it an unforgettable experience for both riders. Our cyclists displayed determination, resilience, and true sportsmanship throughout the race, representing the club and the SANDF with pride.

Congratulations to both riders on their achievement and for flying the Potchefstroom Military Cycling Club flag high. We are proud of your dedication and commitment and look forward to seeing you at many more events in the future.

Today, the Potch Military Cycling Club proudly supported Shaun Leach in his initiative to raise funds for the Potch Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). Shaun is embarking on an incredible 2600 km cycling journey from Beitbridge to Blouberg on 21 March 2026.

This journey aims to raise much-needed funds for animal food, medical care, winter support, and the start-up of a dedicated rescue vehicle.

In support of this cause, the Potch Military Cycling Club transported their donations by bicycle to Le Tour Cycles, where Shaun is gathering all contributions to motivate him for the long road ahead.

We wish him all the strength and success in reaching his goal and a safe journey on the road.
