Hike the Berg Always wanted to try your hand (uh foot) at hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains of KwaZulu Natal, but lacked the resources.

He was the co-founder and co-director of Enviro Ventures, an Environmental and Adventure Centre located in the Central Drakensberg. During his nine years with the company, over 25000 people participated in one or more of the activities o

n offer. By far, the most popular, was the overnight/two night hike into the mountains. Many school children ranging in age from 10 - 18 years, students, corporate groups, staff development groups, holidaymakers and overseas visitors can testify to this.

This was the hike that celebrated Chris's birthday. A gift from Joanne. Destination was Three Pools Cave.

The next trip is planned for 15 - 17 December 2018. This is the famous Christmas hike with presents for all, coloured lights and plenty of grog!

Two nights in Aasvoelkrans Cave in the Highmoor area, with an abseiling session (as many turns as you like!) on Day Two.

All meals and accommodation included.

Hi to all the Hike the Berg fans.
My December hike is going to be Pillar Cave as base for two nights, with an ascent of Rhino Peak on day two! Proposed dates for this hike: 16-18 December. This will be Hike the Berg's 4th Christmas hike with solar powered fairy lights and gifts for all the children! Contact Nick to book.
