I didn’t talk about Ernie Dosio being killed by an elephant when it happened for a reason. Everybody covered the story, but I decided to sit back and watch how people responded. And what I saw shocked me. Anti-hunters all over the internet cheering, mocking, and celebrating a man being killed because they hate hunting. That tells me a lot. I don’t see hunters celebrating when anti-hunters get hurt or die. Maybe that is because most hunters are pro-human. We care about wildlife, conservation, habitat, and the outdoors, but we still understand that human life comes first. The people who celebrated this man’s death while pretending they are morally superior because they oppose killing animals do not have the moral high ground. They exposed themselves. You can disagree with hunting. You can debate conservation all day long. But the second you celebrate a human being dying because he was a hunter, you lose every bit of credibility in that conversation. I am unapologetically pro-human, and people who cheer for a hunter’s death are morally disgusting.
