𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 - 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 (𝐈𝐕) 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐬

Athletes are warned to be aware of the use of IV Therapies (infusions or injections).

The permitted amount for IV Therapies is 100ml within a twelve hour period, except for those legitimately received in the course of hospital treatments, surgical procedures or clinical diagnostic investigations. If the athlete received more than this volume within a 12 hour period, this will constitute an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (Rule 2.2).

The period of ineligibility is, at a minimum, a reprimand and no period of ineligibility and, at a maximum, two years ineligibility depending on the athlete’s degree of fault.
