Please remember bar will be closed so feel free to bring your cooler boxes and braaiers and come and enjoy the day with us

Kiosk will be open with Spur selling food and drinks. There will also be a jumping castle and face painting for the kids.

Entry fee: R10 for Adults
R5 for kids

This coming weekend Vryheid Rugby Club will see some exciting rugby again. We will be hosting our inaugural rugby festival. Due to scheduling problems with some teams we will only have 3 games this time around, but we will be looking to grow this event.

Matches will start at 11:00 on Saturday with local primary school NRS going up against Monument. Come down to Cecil Emmet Sports Grounds to support our local teams.

Please note that bar will only open at 14:00, but kiosk will be open with food and drink

The Vryhied Rugby Club 1st XV showed a gutsy performance in some tough conditions. The field was soaking after the rain on Friday, but the boys pulled together to produced an impressive victory over their rivals from Ladysmith.

This coming Saturday sees Vryheid face of against Ladysmith in their first league match for the season. The last time these two teams met was in the semi-finals last year where Vryheid fell short by a single point. Our boys in maroon will be seeking revenge after that heartbreaking loss.

This week Vryheid Rugby Club will be holding trials. If you are still interested in playing and joining the Vryheid rugby family, please come out and show your stuff. We need the numbers so we can make this another memorable season, so dust of youre rugby toks and come out.
