Join the Vaal River City United Holiday Program – a fun-filled 4 days of soccer, teamwork, and new friendships!

In line with growing demand from many mommies and daddies , we have taken a decision to heed the call and answer to many pleas from concerned parents.

In doing so, we have combined a formidable team of experienced and knowledgeable individuals , comprising of top coaching and scouting personnel, ex professional footballers, qualified sports administrators and fellow football enthusiats to put together what we proudly call Vaal River City United, a football nursery meant to nurture young individuals from age 5 to 12.

This initiative has been taken, in order to:

- Build holistic individuals who will serve their community and country with pride.
- distance our children from the social ills that may impact them negatively.
- introduce the game of football to all young children between the ages of 5- 12 years.
- lay a solid foundation in players’ football skills for future careers in sports
- expose children to the game of football in order to identify the talent & develop it accordingly.

This project has bas been well thought of and put together by individuals who have passion for kids, football and life in general.
Lead by our Technical Director Thulani Mthimkulu :

He holds a CAF A License Coaching qualification and has worked with the following institutions:

• SAFA Sedibeng
• Transnet Sports School of Excellence
• Moroka Swallows Juniors
• Supersports United Juniors
• Mamelodi Sundowns Juniors

Currently coach is with the Schools U/15 National Team that won the COSAFA Schools and also partook in the AFCON u/15 .

He holds the fort with our Head Coach Sailor Tshabalala :

Coach Sailor is currently going through the highest coaching qualification in Africa, the CAF A License. He is a former captain and senior player at Orlando Pirates and South African National Team, Bafana Bafana. He has experience in leading teams and organizations in higher pressure and competitive environment.
