Getting up early is always worth it!
We paddled down the Berg River and out the Laaiplek harbour mouth to watch the sunrise from the ocean, flask of coffee and biscuits at the ready.
What better way is there to start the day?

A lovely paddle down the Berg River and via the canals of Port Owen on World Rivers Day!

As paddlers we have a responsibility to look after our waterways and oceans.
This past week was national clean-up and recycle week and we were privileged to take part in clean-up events on the Berg River and at Laaiplek beach in support of National River Clean-up Day and International Coastal Clean-up Day.
Together we managed to remove 103 bags full of litter from the environment.

Please always pick up and scoop out anything that you come across on your paddling adventures.
It might not be our litter, but it is our planet.
