Rod1: Horizon Muti + Horizon small bleeding floaties with liquid fluoro.

Rod2: Just Black Baldips + Small soft plain white floaties + Plain white sweet dough.

Cypri liquid in heavyweight feed, and Wizard quick set hooks #1.

The the test was on started with heavyweight feed, and without noticing, to in a hurry to get the baits in I forgot to add Cypri liquid.

After about 2 hours no takes, and then it hit me like a pile of bricks, Cypri liquid, immediately started with another batch and the very next cast produced a fish, very small but it was better than a blank day.

It was a propper mixed bag from a Scaly (Natal yellow fish
), Tilapia (Kurper), Barbel, and Carp.

I stuck with what I knew Horizon and Just Black as my main ingredients.

6 fish later we packed up, only for now and definitely return to Lake Eland again, what an amazing venue.

Thanks again to Magic Baits the baits that guarantees fish on the other side of my line.

After work, grabbed the fly rod and headed down to the estuary, just to use last of the day light.

Managed 4 fish for the afternoon, and yes it beats catching nothing.
