Led by Captain Johan Smith, we host monthly games, annual tours, and Club Champs—playing with grace, perseverance, and a passion for every course we conquer.

Langslaners Take On Vaal de Gráce
The LangSlaners Golf Team rolled into Vaal de Grace this past weekend, and let's just say — some had a ball, others spent the day looking for theirs in the bushes.
Rivalries ran hot as always, and once again the "famous" 2ball couldn't dodge the chopping block. Rico & Abrie took it on the chin yet again — completely on schedule, as predicted by absolutely everyone who's ever watched them play.
There were longest drives, nearest the pins, drives that went the distance, and darts that found the flag — proper golf on show, even if not always from the usual suspects.
All in all, a great day out — good banter, plenty of laughs, a few tears over paying out bets, and a fair amount of socks changing hands (turns out losing is expensive).
Thank you Vaal de Grace for a course that entertained, rewarded the sharp ones, and sent a few unlucky souls on a scenic tour through the houses lining the fairways.

And so, there it is.
The Cowboys pulled it through and dominated.
The new teams, the new atmosphere created something special for the LangSlaners Golf Team.
2026 tour, will be remembered for good vibes, friendships and a few dog collars or 2.
Selborne Golf Club, thanks for hosting us. Delivering a course that was enjoyable and for some a humbling experience.
Gracelands Beach Lodge, once again looked after the boys like only you can.
Till next year.
Some wounds will heal with time. And pride will follow.
Till 2027 tour comes.

Selborne Golf Club is hosting the LangSlaners Golf Team today.
After Wild Coast Sun the Cowboys is leading with 3 points.... can the take it.... some of the members of that team has never won a cup before.
With last night and the "engelsmanne" who will be victorious.

Some dog collars was given out.
And some good golf waa played.

The tour kicked off with our boys at San Lameer.
Some good and some average and the the entertaining golf.
With two teams up, we have the Makulus vs the Cowboys.
Some pairings where world-class and the some pairings that was picked on history.
The boys had fun, some good laughs.
The score for now....
3 - 3.
Seeing that is moving day at Wild Coast Sun, this might be a game changer.
Well, normally is.
Balls will be flying, and after all this there will be lots to talk about at Gracelands Beach Lodge.

LangSlaners Golf Team Invade Emfuleni Country Club! ⛳️😂
The Langslaners rolled into Emfuleni Country Club like they owned the place — and by the 18th hole, the course had definitely met its match (or at least put up a decent fight).
Plenty of games within the game kept things interesting. The teachers among us quickly discovered that a golf course is nothing like a classroom — no detention for a bad shot, unfortunately, because there would've been a few students in trouble.
Youth vs experience made for good drama: a young gun teamed up with experienced club champ Paul, and together they sent Gavin and Garry back to school on the leaderboard.
Precision was the name of the game — Goran stuck it close on 17, and Gavin did the same on 4, both claiming closest to the pin honours. Meanwhile Rysmier and Goran decided subtlety wasn't for them, smashing the longest drives of the day.
At the end of it all — bragging rights, sore arms, and a few egos gently dented — the boys had an absolute blast.
And of course, the pictures show the bringing their usual class. 📸

Môre gaan Emfuleni Country Club iets spesiaals beleef! Ses fourballs, een missie: bring die "gees" en los die ego by die hek.
Van onderwysers tot die hoofonderwyser, mediese verteenwoordigers, sales engineers, en natuurlik die verpligte plaasseun in die veld — die LangSlaners Golf Team kom in volle getalle op.
PJ, Henco, Jan en Jaco B trek eerste af — gaan hulle die toon aangee of net vroeg al bewys hulle het te veel gepraat en te min geoefen? 👀
Martin, Jaco P, Miles en Rysmier — flight 2 se manne lyk gevaarlik op papier... ons sal sien of dit op die fairway ook so lyk.
Colla, Weskus, Gertjie en Hanu — hierdie flight belowe chirps van die hoogste gehalte. Los julle R100-note tuis? Ons dink nie so nie.
Rico, Abrie, Riaan en Nicol — die "rustiges" van die groep... of is julle net stil omdat julle handicaps nie kan praat nie? 😏
Paul, Evan, Gavin en Garry — sidebars staan gereed, boys. Wie gaan vandag se pay-out wees?
En laaste maar nie die minste nie: Smirra, Theo, Goran en Danie — die "close-out" flight met genoeg gees om die 19de holte in 'n gefaseerde chaos te verander.

🏌️ Langslaners Invade — No Golfers Were Harmed (Mostly) 🏌️
What a day at the beautiful Maccauvlei Golf Course! The LangSlaners Golf Team descended on the fairways like they owned the place — and left it looking like they definitely did not.
The golf? Mostly great. The lost balls? Generously donated to the rough. Those big, sweeping fades? Let's call them "creative shot selection." Maccauvlei has water features — now it also has a small collection of Titleist and Srixon that belong to no one in particular. 🎱
The PGA scouts were apparently spotted in the area. They left early. No reason given.
🍼 Now, about THAT showdown...
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the epic clash between the seasoned veterans — Major Meyer & Master Pit — and the fresh-faced new boys, the self-proclaimed future of Langslaners (who still need a permission slip to stay up past 9pm).
What happened out there? Well... what happened, happened. 👀
We'll just leave it at this: form is temporary, but class is permanent. Draw your own conclusions, babies. 🍼

Despite the divots, the drama, and the directional challenges off the tee, the boys had an absolute blast. The cold ones at the end were ice-cold and very, very well earned.
Maccauvlei — thank you for having us, for your patience, and for your groundskeeping team who will need a few extra days this week. 🙏⛳
The Langslaners always leave their mark. Today it was mostly divots.
And to our resident power couple — don't get too comfortable up on that pedestal. Humble pie is on the menu. 🥧
