On behalf of Sampdoria Football Club, we would like to sincerely thank Kathu Knights FC and Upington Eagles FC for an incredible day filled with football, great moments, and excellent talent. 🙏⚽

From our U/11 and U/13 all the way through to our U/15 and Senior teams, we truly appreciate the opportunity to share the field, compete, learn, and grow together. 👏🔥

A special thank you to all the supporters, parents, coaches, players, and everyone who came out to enjoy the day with us. Your support and energy made the day even more special. ❤️

We had a lot of fun, created beautiful memories, and most importantly, continued building a relationship that we hope will grow stronger with every opportunity we get to work together.

This coming Saturday, 05 September 2026, Sampdoria FC (UPT) is proud to host Kathu Knights FC, travelling all the way from Kathu in the Northern Cape, as part of their Academy Tour to Sampdoria FC! 🔵⚪🔴

It promises to be a fantastic day of football, development, teamwork and sportsmanship. 🙌⚽

Good morning officials/parents 🙏🏽

Please take note that our U11 and U15 teams have matches tomorrow at Simbruner School:

* U11: 15:30
* U15: 16:00

Our U13 team will not be playing, as 50% of the players represented their school in a match yesterday.

We would also like to congratulate our U13 boys on qualifying for the Kay Motsepe Foundation Schools Championship after defeating Olyvenhoutsdrift Primary School yesterday and being crowned the Dawid Kruiper winners. 👏🏼🔥

On 29 August, they will represent Dawid Kruiper here in Upington against four other municipalities.

Their achievement makes not only their school proud, but also our club. As mentioned, 8 out of the 16 players in the school team are Sampdoria FC players. 👏🏼⚽️

Congratulations, boys! We are extremely proud of you. Keep making your school, your club and your community proud! 🏆💙

We’ve officially started Pre-Season Training for the new season at Sampdoria Football Club (UPT)! ⚽🔥

Now the real work continues as we look ahead to WEEK 2.
