🎾 George Tennis Club Mixed Doubles Championships 2026 🎾

What a great weekend of tennis!

Despite the rain interrupting play on Saturday, the tournament continued on Sunday, with some fantastic tennis to finish off the weekend.

It was great to see so GREAT players and coaches competing, and we were especially proud to have an all-GREAT final! 🙌

We had such a special time on tour with an incredible group of players — lots of tennis, great memories, good laughs and valuable time together both on and off the court. We are extremely proud of the way our players competed and represented Great Tennis! 🙌🎾

What an AMAZING Family Olympics Day! 🎾🏓🏸🏆

36 teams, 5 racket sports and one unforgettable day! 🙌

From tennis and beach tennis to pickleball, table tennis and badminton — there was plenty of competition, laughter and great family moments.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have such wonderful players, parents and families as part of the Great Tennis family. 💙💚

We celebrate someone who has become such a special part of the Great Tennis family.

Thank you for the love, kindness, and care you show every single day. Whether it's a friendly smile, an encouraging word, or something tasty from the tuck shop, you have a way of making everyone feel welcome.

Over the years, you've touched the lives of so many players, parents, coaches, and visitors from across South Africa. Anyone who has spent time at Great Tennis knows that Tannie Susan is much more than the lady at the tuck shop – you are part of the heart of our academy.

We are so grateful for everything you do and for the way you serve others with such joy and dedication.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Life Christian Academy. 🎾

For almost 10 years, Great Tennis Academy has had the privilege of providing tennis coaching with the school, using tennis development to help young players grow both on and off the court.

We are proud of what this partnership has achieved, including producing a player who represented the South African High Schools Tennis Team. It's a reminder of what can happen when young people are given the opportunity to develop through sport.

Thank you to the staff, parents and learners of Life Christian Academy for their continued support and enthusiasm. We look forward to many more years of growing the game and making a positive impact in young lives.
