Explorer the wreck of the ship “Nivonia” Our surf school is one of the longest running Surf Schools on the kzn South Coast, owned and run by ex South African pro surfer Justin Maisch. Justin has various medals for surfing as well as his South African Colours and still takes part in various Surf Compo’s. 2015. For advanced surfers we offer surf guiding. In our lessons our ISA (Internationally trained surf instructors ) will take you to the best beach for your ability to make sure you have the best experience. For advanced surfers, our surf guide will take you to some cool spots, for the best waves at the time. All equipment is provided, we have a whole range of boards to choose from. We also offer SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) tours. These tours take place in estuaries and dams along the South Coast. The Surf House is a basic shared space, with everything that you need to make you comfortable. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 private double room, 1 family room and 1 shared dorm room, 2 shared bathrooms, a shared kitchen and a lovely sun room for relaxing with a good book. A large outdoor deck overlooking the gorgeous mangrove forests, and indigenous bush. See the Fish Eagles soar and hear them call, tons of birdlife and we often see the elusive Bush Buck, and hearing her bark is just sensational. We also offer yoga either on the beach or on our yoga deck
Our property is shared with a pack of friendly dogs, some cats, a few chickens and some wild and free kids. We have a huge organic vegetable garden for you to pick your own veg from. Take a trip to the legendary Wedge Surfboard Factory, its a MUST, you may even want to order your very own handcrafted board. Various tours to all kinds of interesting places can be arranged, Cultural tours and hikes, Adrenaline sports such as gorge swings and ziplines.
