Welcome to Umtentweni Tennis Club's new FB page.
Umtentweni Tennis Club is situated in park-like surroundings in Michwood Road, Umtentweni, where plenty of action takes place with a membership of around 50 Senior Members and several Juniors and their families.
There are six all-weather courts available, three of which also have floodlights – great for summer evenings. A well-constructed, fully fenced practice wall is handy for those who wish to warm up before going on the court – no chasing after balls, just plenty of practice. A great bonus is the ample safe parking for cars.
Senior social days are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 14:00 onward, but the courts are in action by various groups most days of the week.
Spectators are also a common sight at our club where there are comfortable sheltered benches for them to sit on.
Coaching is available for young and old and several junior groups have lessons in the afternoons as well as Saturday mornings, when the Development Tennis Group is coached.
