NOTICE: FOOTBALL PLAYER RECRUITMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

City Strikers Football Club is currently seeking talented young football players to represent our team at the prestigious Espanyol Barcelona Tournament, taking place on 04 July 2025 in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province.

We are looking for players who meet the following criteria:

Age: 16, 17, or 18 years old

Discipline: No history of substance abuse (no drugs or alcohol)

Documents Required: Valid ID and Passport (Birth certificates will not be accepted)

Preferred Candidates: Youth from rural or disadvantaged areas are strongly encouraged to apply, as this opportunity aims to uplift and positively impact the lives of players and their families.

This is a chance to play football at a top-flight level and showcase your talent on an international stage.

Join us as we Host our new U/19 Tournament: City Strikers FC Premier Cup 2023

CSFC Premier Cup aims at giving local teams around Eastern Cape an opportunity to showcase their talents, unite the whole province, and most especially fight Substance Abuse in our communities. Mthatha is one of the underdeveloped small towns in South Africa, and therefore, it is likely to be involved in risky behaviors. Sports have been proven to be one of the factors that reduce the effects of risky behaviors, as it may also include Physical Exercise. This Tournament will create more teams to compete, more players to play and more time to spend on the field to prepare, and hence, there will be no room for Risky behaviors.

We call everyone to come and watch the Tournament, and maybe the organization might grow bigger and also invite teams from all over the country.
