What is the difference between cardio and strength training ?
Cardio is any exercise which increases the heart rate. An increased heart rate promotes heart and lung health and reduces the risk of high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer. Cardio exercises can be running, walking, swimming, rowing, spinning, jumping and more!
Strength training on the other hand boosts the metabolism by building lean muscle mass, preventing obesity and limiting bone loss.
