Well you’re learning to decrease ground contact time. Increasing the ability to produce force. Improving reactivity. Increasing coordination. Increasing Knee stability. Strengthening ankles. Improving landing mechanics. Learning to put the knees, hips, and ankles into triple extension. Improving the ability to switch back and forth between the flight and support stages of sprinting.
Which in turn will develop the Stretch Shortening Cycle and this is the key to optimal maximal performance
