Things to try outside gym for weight loss/management: Try make your job to be physically challenging even if It's not ( go make yourself that cup of tea, go collect your papers from the printer instead of asking someone to do it for you). Try do most of your home chores in a more energy consuming manner (remain standing in the kitchen while cooking, do that garden etc.). Also take your commitment to your social life, whenever a good song is playing don't hesitate to dance (dancing is another good way of energy consumption).
