Congratulations to the ๐—ฉ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฒ team on successfully defending their title, and thank you to the great field of players who took part in yesterday's Youth Day showdown.

The ๐—•๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„๐˜๐—ต ๐—ง๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ (๐—˜๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐Ÿฎ) came to Swellendam Golf Club this past ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†, ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿญ ๐—๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฒ โ€” and what a day it was! ๐ŸŒŸ

35 junior golfers, from our youngest U/6 players right through to U/19, took to the course and showed us exactly what the future of golf looks like.

What made the day extra special? Families, friends and players travelled from as far as Langebaan, Paarl and Somerset West to be here, joining those players from Swellendam, Bredasdorp and surrounds. Watching new friendships form between these young golfers - and seeing those connecting from past competition days - was something truly worth seeing. These are connections that will carry them through many years in this great game.

The Boland Growth Tour (Event 2) is winding down after a fabulous day out on the course. Thanks to Boland Golf Union for their passion and drive around building Junior Golf. Swellendam Golf Club has proudly hosted this event on a beautiful day..... and what a pleasure to see so many young players (and their avid caddies and supporters) here today.
