2 members from Eden Kickboxing made part of the team of 11 South Africans that attended Kickboxing test between South Africa and Canada that took place in Toronto Ontario, Canada on Saturday 14 April. The 2 members were:

Luan Venter (Athlete)
Sors Grobbelaar (National Coach)

Luan managed to win his bout making him a Intercontinental Champion in his division. Team South Africa won 3 of the bouts narrowly loosing the test 3-4 to Canada.

13 members from Eden Kickboxing made part of the team of 33 South Africans that attended the Turkish Open International Kickboxing Tournament from 3 to 9 April in Antalya, Turkey. The 11 members were:

Thomas Bell (1 x Silver & 1 x Bronze)

Megan Grebe
Jaquine Strydom (1 x Gold)
Amy de Paiva (1 x Bronze)
Chayse Norris (1 x Bronze)

Anne van der Merwe- Team Manager


South Africa managed to win 30 medals in total with 10 of them coming from Eden Kickboxing members putting team SA at the top of the log at the Championships

Some photos of last weekend's SAKA National Championships in Pretoria.

Managed to get some great results. 31 Fighters competed and we managed to win 14 Gold, 14 Silver and 5 Bronze medals.

Well done to each and every athlete that competed.

Wow a great weekend for the Eden Kickboxing team at the 2017 SAKA SA Kickboxing Championships. Eden took a team of 35 Athletes. Our medals tally was as follows:

13 Gold, 18 Silver and 9 Bronze. Well done to each and every Eden athlete that competed this weekend. We got great results and looked awesome doing it. Thank you to all our Judges, Referees, Table Officials and coaches for all your hard work over the weekend.
