The SGR school readiness preparation, sport and skill development program includes developing a healthy and active lifestyle for children, contributing to their emotional, social and psychological wellbeing. Bullying affects both boys and girls and is a widespread problem in South Africa, having a severe impact on every aspect of a child's life. Suicide attempts have increased under the youth of South Africa and SGR is therefore committed to serve alongside established partners, chosen for their expertise in the area of mental health, to promote bully awareness and mental health.
Our Bully Awareness goals include ensuring children and youth affected by bullying are guided, through essential access to mental health support, facilitated by institutions and health care providers.
