Cricket for a Cause: Standerton Teams Battle for R20,000 Charity Prize in STDN XX Final

The Standerton Cricket Club invites the community to come together on 6 October at the SHS Oval for an action-packed day of cricket.

The highly anticipated final of the Bring on Monday STDN XX Tournament will see two fierce teams compete, not only for the trophy but also for a good cause, with each team playing for R20,000 to support their chosen local charity, school, or initiative.

In a thrilling showdown, the Blue Bottle Barbarians will battle it out for the Lekwa Clean Up Crew, a project dedicated to keeping our town clean and environmentally conscious.

On the other side of the pitch, Eagle Solar will play for Hoërskool Standerton and Laerskool Standerton, supporting education and growth in our schools.

This tournament has become a cornerstone of community spirit, with its unique focus on giving back to Standerton.

Whether you're a cricket fan or just looking to enjoy a fun day with family and friends, the SHS Oval will be the place to be.

Come and cheer for your favourite team and support a great cause!

The final begins at 12:00 noon, so be sure to arrive early to grab the best spot.
