eptember 1957 Decided to design a club badge. January 1958 P. Potgieter chosen to go to Nova Scotia for Tuna Tournament. H Dev Melville chosen to cast for E.P in Pretoria. Lapel badges made by Metal Art @ 75c each. August 1958 Club Subs increased to R1.50 for men and 75c for Ladies and Juniors. September 1959 Angling Week tickets 50c for members and 75c for non members. October 1959 Prize giving cost Β£20 i.e. Ways and means of getting members to attend meetings and club
competitions discussed. September 1960 Bait Control regulations were enacted. Badge changed to insert a door and 3 windows in the lighthouse. November 1961 Christmas Hamper raffle for funds @ 10c tickets
May 1962 Cotton Trophy won by club for first time. August 1962 H Dev Melville became secretary
Application to Divisional Council for key to Kabeljouws beach.
1963 Angling Week won by club for first time.
1966 Tankards introduced β cost R7.95 and R2.00 for engraving.
1971 Casting became part of club activities.
1972 First members were granted E.P Casting colours under new section.
1974 Veterans Trophies donated for members over 55 years. Club tracksuits available for first time.
1978 Top Ten Awards for first time. Membership down since beaches closed.
