Sunday 14 December saw both our Robinson Cup Teams, The Falcons and The Eagles, having home games against False Bay Croquet Club and GCCC Greyton Country Croquet Club respectively. False Bay definitely brought their A-game, convincingly beating The Falcons by 11 games to 5 (101/87 hoops) With seven of the matches going to the golden hoop and two matches won 7/5 the match was certainly a lot closer than the score-line suggests.

In the second match The Eagles faired much better by beating Greyton 10 games to 6 and by doing so creep ever closer to the Falcons on the log with only six hoops separating the teams.
Current standings are as follows:
FBCC 12 points
SWCC Falcons 8 points
SWCC Eagles 8 points
RCC 4 points (game in hand)
Greyton 2 points
HVCC 0 points (game in hand)

It was blistering hot and steamy as the Falcons took on HVCC at Helderberg Village this past Sunday in the Robinson Cup. HVCC made the Falcons sweat for their 10/6 win (99/71 on hoops) and as a result the Falcons remain top of the log 💪

Sunday saw this months round of The Robinson Cup league being played, with our two teams, The Eagles and The Falcons up against each other. It was a very tightly contested affair with the Falcons pipping the Eagles 9 games to 7 (91/84 on hoops) with Judith and Richard coming from 6-3 down to win their match against Tony and Mike, on the golden hoop, in the last match of the day.......
