2026 Progressive Marathon with Saturday midway highlight, was as good as the grand finale with Gazebo and Rara team and as always, the social team with a spread to die for!!!
Fresh homemade refreshments, cold water, wine and gin!!!! What more do you want?
The kuier afterwards of course☺☺☺ It was great to see everybody who could not do the challenge, who came along and joined us for the fun.
Once again, a big big thank you to the social team who made it all happen in such a special way. You are the best!
Big congrats to all who persevered for 6 days and finished their goal distance. Well done!

This is an ideal opportunity to kick start your fitness commitment and work towards those fitness goals you set for yourself in the rest of the year. This unique challenge is open to public and all in Helderberg community.

All dressed up and no race to go😱 Spookhill 2026 was once again cancelled due to storm weather risk. Its 2 weeks to go to the Big 2/0 and the whole world was out running and walking today. What a privilege to see how active people are in our beautiful area. So did our RWFL members take to the road doing various distances from 8km to 19km which included the gruelling Spook hill, but with plenty volunteer watertable support, all conquered! Well done boys and girls. As always every body enjoyed the welcome home gazebo with refreshments and fresh tasty eats and a nice kuier, all made possible by our super social group! Thanks all, what a wonderful day☺

How nice it is to see people working hard and then achieve their goals. So did one of our role models who excelled once again during the past weekend – participating in the WPA Masters 5000m Race Walking Champs and made the podium with a golden first place in her age category! A huge congrats to Carol-Ann Aver for a super achievement. We know she has been working very hard and reaped the benefits. She also made her SA time for her age category. We are super proud of her.
