West Workout also has been instrumental in growing Powerlifting in the Western Cape and helping many top lifters achieve their national colours. Howard qualified in the UK with the British Amateur Weightlifting Teachers and Instructors awards and coached in gyms in England for 2 years before he took over West Workout.
