I am pleased to announce that I have joined the McKenna Academies team and my first day will be Monday 8 April. I would like to thank Andrew McKenna and Andre Brits for giving me this amazing opportunity. I look forward to the next journey of my life. I need to thank all my friends and family for all the support these last couple of years. A special thank you to my wife for allowing me to follow my dream and always being there for me.

Mpumalanga Junior Golf would like to wish 9 of our former players THE BEST OF LUCK for the Sunshine Tour - Gary & Vivienne Player Challenge that will be played in our province at White River Country Club from the 30 August 2023 to 1 September 2023.

An excellent performance this week finishing in the top 20 at the Nomads North and South Junior Championship played at Pecanwood Golf & Country Club. ⛳

Bernard Jansen van Vuuren played 3️⃣ over PAR over 54 holes which included 1️⃣2️⃣ birdies. 🐦🐦🐦

PLEASE VOTE FOR THRISTON LAWRENCE
Thriston grew up in Nelspruit, and was a member of Mbombela Golf Club..
He was an active member of Mpumalanga Junior Golf and represented Mpumalanga at both Junior level as well as at “Senior” level.
As an amateur he won the South African Amateur Open twice in 2013 and 2014, as well as the Lytham Trophy in 2014.
He currently plays on the DP World Tour where he has so far won 4 tournaments, namely:
- 2021 Joburg Open
- 2022 Omega Masters
- 2022 Investec SA Open
- 2023 BMW International Open
He is currently the highest ranked South African Professional on the OWGR.
This year he made his first appearance in the PGA Championship which was played at Oak Hill Country Club.
