So, you want to get yourself and your bump moving but aren't sure what is safe (and unsafe) to do while pregnant? I've briefly outlined some exercise do's and don'ts to help you on your way π
ππ ππ:
Strengh training
Indoor cycling
Walking
Swimming
Low-impact aerobic training
Yoga and pilates
πππ'π ππ ππ:
Contact sport: wrestling, rugby, soccer, etc.
Hot yoga
High injury sports where it's easy to fall: Horseback riding, skiing, rollerblading, fast outdoor/mountain cyclingπ΅
Remember, during pregnancy you have a higher chance of losing your balance - keep this in mind when deciding on an exercise and always take it slow. The safety of your baby should come first, so stay away from sports and exercises where you could easily, fall, get struck, or injured. P.s...don't forget to consult your doctor before starting to train.
