Running/Walking Club in Scottburgh. We hold regular training runs and a weekly time trial Wednesdays There is a good social vibe at the club.

We are a running and walking club situated in Scottburgh, KwaZulu-Natal. A weekly time trial is run every Wednesday at 17:15 from Scottburgh Golf Club, there are also regular training runs (road and trail). Club registration and purchasing of kit is done at the time trials.

We’re reaching out to our amazing community — we have one of our athletes in urgent need of a pair of size 8 running shoes. If you have an old pair gathering dust in your cupboard, we’d love to give them a second life!

Please drop them off at our next club run or send us a message to arrange collection. Every little bit helps, let’s keep our athletes running strong! 🏃‍♂️💪

Whether you crossed the finish line or gave it your all out on the road — showing up, pushing through, and embracing the spirit of the Ultimate Human Race is a triumph in itself. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you! 🖤💛

To our incredible supporters, families, friends, and fans lining the route or cheering from afar — thank you. Your energy carried us through the highs and lows, and your belief in us made all the difference.

This Sunday marks a very special moment for Scottburgh Athletics Club as our Chairman, Lungelo Zama, takes on his fourth Comrades Marathon! 👏

Right beside him will be his uncle, Lucky Zama — a true inspiration. Lucky runs with unwavering determination, carefully managing his journey with diabetes, proving that nothing can stand in the way of heart and perseverance. 🙌

What a powerful way to share the road — uncle and nephew, both representing the strength of family, resilience, and community.

There’s something truly special about sharing the road — and this year, Scottburgh Athletics Club celebrates an incredible father-son moment as Murray Haw and Glen Haw take on the Comrades Marathon together!

It’ll be Murray’s very first Comrades, and we couldn’t be more excited to see him follow in his father’s footsteps. Right beside him is Glen, no stranger to the challenge — going for his 11th run, with an impressive personal best of 07:24:25 set in 1991! 👏

What a legacy. What a bond. What an inspiration.

We’re behind you both all the way — here’s to strength, family, and unforgettable memories on the road! 🖤💛
