Hi members further to emails/messages sent about riding on Ellingham Estates there still seems to be some "none adhering cyclists".................PLEASE read correspondence received from Tim Crookes re these trails......PLEASE LET'S NOT SPOIL IT FOR EVERYONE!

Hi everyone,
We have been asked by the director of Ellingham Estate to pass on the following message:
“Please be advised that far too many people are completely ignoring the rules of the Rocky Bay Trails! We recently had a family, including children, riding off trail & directly into the area of fields that were being burnt. This could have had devastating consequences! Fortunately in this instance, no-one was injured.
Everyone needs to realize that Ellingham is a working farm. The Rocky Bay Trails have fixed routes for a reason & relevant routes could be closed at any time to allow for burning of fields & cane haulage by tractors & cane trucks. The guards are instructed to inform trail users of any such closures at the time of payment & signing of indemnity forms.
We appeal to ALL trail users, riders & runners, to abide by the rules & make the necessary payment for your usage of these trails. Please name & shame those that don’t! If this total disregard for the rules continues, we will be left with no other choice but to close the Rocky Bay Trails permanently. The future of these trails lies in your hands!”

So please everyone, let’s spread the word & encourage each other to respect the rules & safeguard the future of these beautiful trails for all of our enjoyment 🙌
