The WildED Holiday Camp is back to get your kids away from screens, and back into nature. Hosted at Crocworld Conservation Centre in Scottburgh from 15 to 19 December for kids aged 8 to 13, this action-packed camp is all about fresh air, friendship, and fun. Kids will explore the outdoors through:

SEPTEMBER 17 is WORLD MANTA DAY

Manta rays and devil rays are some of the ocean’s most graceful and intelligent creatures. Sadly, they face threats from overfishing, bycatch, pollution, and habitat loss. World Manta Day is a chance to celebrate these incredible animals and take action to protect them.

Here’s how you can help mantas thrive:
*Choose sustainable seafood–Unsustainable fisheries harm manta populations.
*Say no to single-use plastics–Ocean pollution affects mantas and their food sources.
*Support marine protected areas–Healthy oceans mean safe spaces for mantas to feed, breed, and migrate.
*Dive responsibly–If you’re lucky enough to swim with mantas, keep your distance and never touch them.
*Educate yourself–Many organizations are working to save mantas. Visit www.worldmantaday.com to find out more.
*Raise awareness–Share what you know about mantas with friends and family.
