MORE THAN A DJ. A MOVEMENT.

STYLES RSA

Born and raised in Soweto, Styles RSA is a self-taught DJ who discovered his love for Amapiano and House music in 2022. What began with bedroom mixes has steadily evolved into a growing presence behind the decks, curating sets across clubs and venues.

Rooted in the sounds and culture of the Kasi, Styles RSA brings a distinctive blend of Kasi soul and soft groove to every set. His approach is less about simply playing music and more about understanding the room, reading the crowd and creating an experience that moves naturally with the energy of the moment.

Known for his ability to read the crowd, Styles RSA brings pure groove energy to his performances, combining carefully selected Amapiano and House sounds with a feel for the atmosphere around him.

From bedroom mixes to the club scene, his journey represents the early stages of an artist with a clear connection to his roots and a desire to take his sound beyond them.

🇿🇦 SHE'S 14 YEARS OLD. REMEMBER THE NAME — IMINATHI MAKINANA.

Today, while watching the Hollywoodbets Super League Festival in Gqeberha, one young footballer made me sit up and take notice.

Her name is Iminathi Makinana. She is only 14 years old.

Playing against senior women for City Lads, Iminathi scored both goals in their 2–1 victory over First Touch Ladies — and was deservedly named Player of the Match.

But today's performance wasn't a once-off.
Just a few weeks ago, Iminathi scored twice against TUT as City Lads came from behind to win 3–2 and claim their first victory of the season.

She was Player of the Match that day too. Independent match records confirm her goals came in the 49th and 68th minutes.

And her talent was already showing at junior national level.

At the SAFA TDS U15 Inter-Provincial Tournament, Iminathi scored a hat-trick for the U15 Women's National Team in a 4–0 victory over Mpumalanga.

The TDS programme is particularly significant because SAFA uses it as a national scouting pathway for identifying players for its U15 national teams.

City Lads' coach has previously confirmed that Iminathi progressed through their development programme before being promoted to the senior team this season. She has been praised for her first touch and her fearlessness in taking defenders on.

And today I got to see some of that ability with my own eyes.

At 14, nobody should place the burden of being “the next big thing” on her shoulders.

She still has an enormous amount of learning and development ahead of her.
But performances like these deserve recognition.

Two HBSL braces.
Two Player of the Match awards.
A hat-trick at U15 national level.

And she's only 14.
South African women's football has another youngster worth keeping an eye on.

Remember the name: Iminathi Makinana. 🇿🇦⚽
