Bronze medalist, Category II Uneven Bars final, in the International Memorial Cup in Serbia. Competing amongst 16 countries, an excellent result showing maturity, discipline and self belief beyond her years.

Liyah in her first ever international battling nerves and excitement represented herself and Wanderers proudly

Gabi, after a long year of setbacks, qualifying for bar finals on Sunday. She has showed determination and resilience towards achieving her goals.

Wanderers' elite gymnasts excelled academically and took top spot in 2025 at ESCA Wanderers school's prize giving ceremony, held on Tuesday 2 December.

Africa's premier sport school awarded student of the year for:
- Grade 5 to Mohluli Phiri
- Grade 6 to Gabriella Da Silva
- Grade 7 to Matt Brown

Matt Brown had a stellar year, also winning the Middle School Student of the Year, and most improved gymnast.

Kadin Chester, in his final year, was awarded gymnast of the year for his 39th place ranking in the world.

Congratulations Kadin Chester, Nico Kruger and judge Bobby Budai.

A truly great result at Junior World Championships with Kadin finishing All Around 39th

We are so proud of you!!

An inspiring moment to have a photo with Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo for Kadin

And for Bobby Budai, judging alongside Former Olympic Rings Champion Arthur Zanetti.

Kadin had a good World Championship in a very intimidating sub-division.

The Philippine team was in Kadin’s sub-division and the crowd support for them was deafening. But, he kept his nerve demonstrating tremendous focus.

Kadin's position placed South Africa as the 24th Federation. As a consequence, South Africa has earned the automatic right to send a full junior team to the 2027 Junior World Championship.
