What an incredible day celebrating the spirit of martial arts, unity and sportsmanship.

Our sincere congratulations to every athlete who stepped onto the mats. Your discipline, courage and respect for one another embodied the true values of martial arts. To our coaches, referees, officials, volunteers, supporters and families, thank you for your dedication and for making this championship possible.

We were honoured to welcome representatives from the Chinese Consulate, and we appreciate your support in helping us grow martial arts in South Africa.

This championship is not the end of the journey, it is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for UWMAF South Africa.

Over the coming months, we will be establishing a monthly training squad, bringing together athletes from across different martial arts disciplines to train, develop and learn from one another. This initiative will serve as the foundation for the future development of a South African representative team, providing our athletes with greater opportunities to grow and represent our country with pride.

Thank you to everyone who believed in this vision and contributed to making this championship a success. We have celebrated, we have learned, and we are excited for what lies ahead.

Together, we are building more than competitions. We are building the future of martial arts in South Africa. 🇿🇦🥋

We will be celebrating 10 years as an organization and we are jointly hostingthe UWMAF ICO World Championships in Frankfurt, Germany from the 11 to 13 October 2024, for all martial arts and artist, to come, participate and enjoy their prefered martial arts without any politics, restrictrion or calling anyone dissident and non compliant.
