A Fond Farewell to a Shelley Point Stalwart
After nearly two decades as a valued member of Shelley Point Golf Club, the time has come to bid farewell to a true gentleman, passionate golfer, and great friend.
From 2006 to 2026, Johan Blaauw has been an integral part of our golfing community. His enthusiasm for the game, friendly nature, sportsmanship, and willingness to support the club have earned him the respect and friendship of members and visitors alike. It is therefore only fitting that he was recognised as an Honorary Member of our club.
As Johan embarks on a new chapter, returning to Gauteng to be closer to his family, we thank him sincerely for his many years of loyalty, companionship, and contribution to Shelley Point Golf Club.
Johan, we salute you. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the friendships you have created along the way. We wish you every happiness and success in your new beginnings and trust that you will continue to enjoy the game of golf for many years to come.
