What a way to wrap up the 2026 racing season! 🏁🔥

Heading into the final race of the year, we knew we had our work cut out for us. With the 2026 championship within reach, our focus was on staying consistent, racing smart, avoiding unnecessary risks and bringing home a strong result.

With 40 entrants, the Barberspan 300 delivered another fantastic, well-organised event on a hot day, featuring a challenging combination of tight sections and long, fast straights. A big thank you to the organisers, marshals and everyone involved in making it such a great event! 👏

We kicked off the day with a fantastic prologue, securing 1st place and earning the opportunity to open the main race for the first time as a driver and navigator team!

The main race consisted of two laps of 126 km each, making it a serious test of endurance, concentration, teamwork and navigation. Opening the race was a challenge in itself, particularly with several sections offering limited or no visibility. Paving the way and setting the pace at the front required us to stay sharp and work together throughout.

We managed to stay in front for the entire race. Unfortunately, the race was stopped early and with approximately 4 km remaining, we were redirected to rejoin the route and complete the final 2 km. The result was ultimately determined using the first-lap times, which meant we narrowly missed out on the overall victory.

Nevertheless, we secured 3rd place in the FIA Big Wheel Class and 3rd Overall! 🥉🏆

🏆 THE BIGGER PICTURE – 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP

While a race-day victory would have been the perfect way to end the season, the bigger goal was always the championship. And what a position we find ourselves in!

We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved as a team this year. None of this would be possible without the support, dedication and hard work behind the scenes.

A massive thank you to our supporters, family and everyone who has been part of our journey throughout the season. To all the competitors and teams, thank you for another great year of racing!

It was once again a great race and a very well-organised event, with 46 entrants. We had a nice sandy track, with some tight sections and very long straights.

We managed to finish 2nd in the Prologue, which determined our starting position for the main race. The main race consisted of two laps of 120km each.

We started in 2nd position and managed to hold onto 2nd place for the entire race. We caught up with the car in front of us in the tight sections. Although we had a good, clean run with no issues, unfortunately, we just didn’t have enough top speed on the long straights to pass the car in front of us.

We finished 2nd in the FIA Big Wheel Class and 2nd overall, 17 seconds behind first place. We also finished more than 5 minutes ahead of the 3rd-place car.

Overall, it was a fantastic event, and we are very happy with the result. Looking forward to the final race of the year in October.
