The Academy would like to say well done to Harri Venter for his outstanding performance for Oakdale u15 A.

Harri who has been at the Academy since Grade 8 , is starting to put together the pieces .

Harri managed to score 21(41) runs and with the ball he was just the better player on the field. Harri stood out with 6.2 overs taking 5 /14 .

Well done Harri.

Cricket games and Stats

Derik and Alex shine again against Heidelberg Primary school in their u13 match .

Alex Fouche having an all-round performance ,with bowling stats of 3 overs, for 3 runs and 2 wickets,Well done Alex.Alex also opened the batting and scored 16 runs N/O.

Derik van Zyl on the other hand didn't get a chance to bat ,but showed his worth with the ball bowling 2 overs for 1 run and taking 3 wickets.

The Six Gun Grill Badgers Eden tournament took place over the December holidays.

Alex Fouche and Derik Van Zyl was selected to take part.
Derik had a good first day with an all-round performance scoring 22 runs (hitting 2 x4 and 1 x6 ).
With the ball in hand ,Derik bowled 4 overs going only for 6 runs , Fantastic performance!!!!

Alex Fouche showing strong mentality with 2 innings not- out , scoring 11 (19) and 14 (20) . Alex who is also an all-rounder showing his skill with the ball taking 2 wickets for 9 runs (2.1 overs)

Well done to Stian Pfaff , who is rewarded with the Cricket player of year award. Stian who is captain of his u13 side, has recorded the most runs ,as well as the most wickets.

The Academy would like to say WELL DONE to the boys for making the SWD Cricket provincial team .

From left , Gerhard Ehlert (SWD U19) , Pieter Gildenhuys (SWD U16) and Zandre Conradie (SWD U19).

The Academy which is based at Oakdale Agricultural School gives private coaching for all children of all ages.
