More than just swimming is taught during our lessons. Life skills that children learn at swimming include independence, self-confidence, listening to and following instructions, learning to take turns and to share, learning to try new activities, not letting mistakes become discouraging, making new friends and respect for their teachers. When swimmers join our training squads and start swimming mo
re competitively, they learn to set goals, work consistently towards their achievements, time management, dedication, discipline, teamwork, the acceptance of constructive criticism and sportsmanship. We also play by the rulesβ¦ the Perfect Stroke Swimming Team of Coaches are all qualified and registered with Swimming South Africa; with police clearances; sexual offenders registry clearances; up to date first responder and CPR certification as well as safeguarding certifications. Perfect Stroke Swimming has a team of coaches and we play to our strengths! We try our very best to accommodate our swimmersβ learning styles; develop their talent and encourage them to work through their weaknesses. We also make a splash at a variety of different facilities! The home of Perfect Stroke Swimming is the Karen Street Facility in Ridgeway; we swim at Marist Brothers Linmeyer; Waterstone College and the Waterstone Castle. We swim with the intersen and high school at Trinity House Glenvista. We believe that the pool should be a safe space for swimmers where they have a sense of belonging.
