They bend all day long. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The key is actually what is happening at the hip🤓

Weak tight hip muscles directly impact the knees. You need to not only stretch and strengthen the muscles around the knees, but more importantly the muscles around the hip too!

The trampoline is an aggressive exercise for final phase rehab. Start light and work your way up. Then you can get to the jumping ✌️

What you do off the field will directly determine your performance on the field. Working hard in training and in games is actually not enough.

Injuries occur due to trauma on the field and overuse issues. You need to work hard on your movement and weaknesses.

Mobility
Strength
Skill
Game reading
Team work
Cardiovascular fitness

These all play a role in injury occurrence.

Get a plan going where you can approach these objectives in a systematical manner.

Set a goal/goals and set a plan to reach your goal/goals.

Wall Squat:

The body is mechanical in function. It needs to move. The problem comes in when we move incorrectly or just not enough.

One of the most basic functional movements is the squat. You do it all the time through out your day. Getting in an out of a chair, using a toilet, even climbing in and out of a car.

So why not practice doing it right? Get yourself to a wall and squat roughly your foot away from it and move closer the better you get at it. If need be start further back from the wall until you get comfortable.

You need to have a pole or something light above your head to open up your thoracic spine.

You can put a chair behind you if you scared you wall fall backwards.

Challenge Of Perception:

Strength training is actually recommended for everyone. Strength training reduces joint instability and joint pain. Increases natural hormones.

It will just differ with intensity for different people. Kids can do band work as they actually put their bodies through more than you think 🤷🏻‍♂️

Remember that your body is always under load due to gravity 🤷🏻‍♂️ stairs 🤷🏻‍♂️ walking 🤷🏻‍♂️ that is resistance whether you like it or not 🤓

Strength training when done properly will benefit you, your bones and health.
