Not only am I incredibly proud of you as your Sensei, but even more so as your mother. ❤️

This was certainly not an easy road, and there were many challenges along the way. But your determination, perseverance and refusal to give up are what make this achievement so special. You pushed through when things were difficult, and that speaks of the true spirit of Bushido.

Watching you grow, both as a karateka and as a person, has been an absolute privilege. You have earned this rank through hard work, dedication and heart.

Shodan is not the end of the journey — it is the beginning of a new one. 🥋

🥋🏆 TIGERS KARATE CLUB COMPETITION RESULTS 🏆🥋

On 9 May 2026, our Tigers competed at the tournament held at Action Sports Key West in Krugersdorp, Gauteng.

This friendly tournament is designed to introduce students to the excitement of the competition arena while also serving as a Gauteng Championships qualifier for more serious competitors looking to take their karate journey to the next level.

Our students demonstrated incredible courage, determination, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the day. Whether it was their first time stepping onto the competition floor or they were seasoned competitors, every Tiger represented our dojo with pride and gave their very best.

We are extremely proud of all our competitors and would like to congratulate the following medal winners on their outstanding achievements:
