TAPER WEEK 📉🏃‍♂️

A time to refresh and recover from all the hard work that's been done.

The idea of a taper is to decrease training load while still maintaining intensity. This ensures that the body can recover while still keeping the pop in your step with maintaining the same pace.

I like to add some short strides at the end of my sessions to keep that bounce in my step.

6-8 (20 secs) strides is perfect

Come race day you should feel fresh and ready to go!🤸‍♂️
