Well done to all our members who took part in the Border Masters marathon and half-marathon this Sunday!

Special mention must be made of Charlene de Villiers & Magda van Eck who completed their first marathon and Christiaan Harmse who completed his first half-marathon!

Well done to Zakuthini Retyu on achieving 8th in his category in the marathon and Mary Venter on achieveing 5th in her category and Peter Leon Williams 7th in his category in the half-marathon!

Congratulations to Bianca Naude on running a PB in the marathon and Mary Venter in the half-marathon!

We are very proud of all of you!!

Last week Saturday 12 of our members, namely, Maryka Annandale, Leana Bakkes, Mia Bakkes, Lizel Casey, Ilizell de K**k, Rochelle Fourie, Natasha Goldschmidt, Christopher Mills, Bianca Naudé, Christine Snyman, Christo Snyman and Mary Venter, took part in the Titan of the Tartan hosted by QCOBA. All of our runners did exceptionally well, running 477 laps (190.8km) collectively!

Special mention must be made of our junior, Christo Snyman, who, at only 14 years of age, ran 57 laps (22.8km) and was awarded the prize for youngest runner on the track. Bianca Naudé completed 111 laps (44.4km), earning 1st place in the female division and 2nd overall.

Well done, ladies and gents! We are very proud of you!
