It is race week for Mike with the 3rd round of the UCI World Cup XCC and XCO happening in Leogang, Austria 🇦🇹

He’s spent the past week enjoying the sunshine in Val Di Fassa, Italy, getting used to the roots and rocks of the European trails. That, combined with some good company and banter in the form of and , means he is feeling the most himself he can in a forreign country!

Phil Buys back on the podium this weekend at the 3rd round of Ford 🥉

Phil was in the chasing bunch throughout the race until the race leaders missed a turn closed to the end which made for an epic end sprint 🚴‍♂️

This will be Mike’s base for the next week before heading over to Leogang for the 3rd World Cup XC weekend of the season 💪

African Champs XCO 2026 🌍

It was as hot as can be in Cote d’Ivoire today and it came down to a battle between Mike and Luke Moir for the title of African XCO Champion.

“Absolutely mental, the heat. We all could basically only have one gel. The body was too hot to have lots of carbs, cold water every single tech zone pass otherwise you died. Luke and I broke away on the lap 2 climb. I tried to attack last lap middle climb. It didn’t work. Waited for Luke to do something on the last climb when he went I just couldn’t hold on. Quite surprised with myself after being off the bike for the week but anyway no excuses, if you have a bike you have a chance. Luke was strongest today again, man is strong, big ups to him. I just didn’t have that last kick in me.”

Great racing Mike! And congrats to Luke Moir on his XCC and XCO wins 👏

Mike heads back to Europe now for the remainder of the XC World Cup Season! Next up is Leogang on 2 weeks time 💪

Another international race day for the team!

A hot day in Cote D’Ivoire for Mike and 2nd in the African Champs XCC behind Luke Moir 💪

Phil was at King Price Race To The Sun and unfortunately dropped his bike computer during the race and burned a few too many matches trying to catch up to the group again, deciding in the end to save his legs for the upcoming Ford Trailseeker at Van Gaalen 🤝

There’s a big weekend of racing on the cards for the boys!

Mike has made it to Côte D’Ivoire for African Champs XCO and Phil is locking in to the big 100 miles at King Price 🔥

Saturday is XCC for Mike and race day for Phil.

Sunday is XCO day for Mike 🤝

He’s eager to secure the African Champ jersey to represent on the World Cup circuit throughout the rest of the season 💪
