JOB VACANCY: GOLF COURSE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Location: Kimiad Golf Course, Pretoria East

Kimiad Golf Course is seeking a fully qualified and experienced Golf Course Mechanic to join our maintenance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, servicing, repair, and stock control of all golf course machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance.

Minimum Requirements:
- Fully qualified Golf Course Mechanic
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills
- Proven experience in the daily maintenance, servicing, and repair of golf course equipment
- Ability to work independently, plan maintenance schedules, and prioritize tasks
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Stock control experience is essential, including managing parts, tools, and consumables
- Valid references are required

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily servicing, maintenance, and repair of all golf course machinery and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Manage stock levels of spare parts, oils, tools, and consumables
- Order and track parts as required, ensuring sufficient stock availability
- Ensure tools and workshop equipment are maintained in good working condition
- Report equipment condition, repair needs, and stock requirements to management

Salary:
Negotiable, depending on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
