📋 Race Day Information

🧍‍♂️Gate Fee: R30 per person

📝 Outstanding Entries:
Any outstanding entry fees can be paid in cash at the 424 Admin Tent.

📦 Rider Envelopes:
Please collect your rider envelopes before your race at the 424 admin tent, make sure to put on your helmet stickers, juniors and seniors will have marshall check points.

♻️ Refuse Bags:
Please make use of your refuse bags and help us keep the venue clean. Take your refuse bag home with you after the event.

🏍️ Race Numbers:
Ensure the race number you entered with is clearly visible on your bike. This is extremely important for accurate timing and lap scoring.

🏁 HI RACERS — TRACK UPDATE! 🏁

We’ve been hard at work getting the track ready, and we can tell you already — this is going to be a proper Cross Country-style track! 💪🏽🏁

🌿 FAST & FLOWING
The track is nice and flowing, with a few rocky sections to keep you on your toes. We will have CAUTION BOARDS clearly marked in these areas.

⚠️ SEE A CAUTION BOARD? SLOW DOWN!
The rocky sections are only a couple of hundred metres long. Take it easy through the marked section, and once you’re clear — OPEN IT UP AGAIN! 💨💨

⛰️ THE FAMOUS DIGGERS-INN KOPPIE!

Yes, we brought the famous Diggers-inn Koppie into the track! 😎

We’ve worked it into the route to make it nice, flowing and fun while still giving you that proper Cross Country feeling.

🚧 ROAD CROSSINGS

All classes will have road-crossing sections.

PLEASE RESPECT OUR MARSHALLS! 🦺

Our marshals will be stationed at the crossing points to keep everyone safe. The crossings will be right next to each other, and we’ll make sure the 50cc class is assisted properly through these sections.

Safety first — listen to the marshals and follow their instructions. 🏁

📏 ESTIMATED TRACK DISTANCES

🏍️ Morning Session: ±13 km
🏍️ Afternoon Session: ±30 km

We will have the EXACT kilometres confirmed by no later than Wednesday.

Hi Racers,

🚨 Very Important Announcement 🚨

At the 424 Cross Country Championship Series Year-End Function, I will officially reveal the new name of our race series. I will take the time from now and come up with a new name for the series.

After giving it a lot of thought, I have decided that we will no longer continue under the 424 Cross Country Championship Series name. As many of you have mentioned, and as we all know, the name 424 will always be associated with Jonathan. Out of respect, I feel it is the right time for the series to move forward with a new identity.

From the new year, our championship will continue under a brand-new name with a fresh new logo.

I want to assure everyone that nothing else is changing. The way we run our events, the atmosphere, the professionalism, and the passion for Cross Country Racing will remain exactly the same. Only the name and branding of the series will change.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support. I'm excited to share this new chapter with all of you, and I can't wait to unveil the new name at the year-end function.

Life is too short to race boring races!
