Rhythm of Hope Dance

Rhythm of Hope Dance Building healthy identities in Christ through the journey of dance! We aim to use their dance journeys to achieve this. Our Core Values:
1. (Resilience)

2.

Vision
We dream of seeing a young generation, especially girls, from various different backgrounds, rise up as healthy individuals with vision, confidence and compassion, willing to use their unique gifts as instruments to bless and make a difference in their communities. Hope - to expect with confidence : Strong’s defines it as a cord, expectation, and hope. It comes from the Hebrew root kavah meaning to bind together, collect; to expect: – tarry, wait (for, on, upon). Rom 5:4: perseverance, character; and character, hope. Empowerment- Authority or power given to someone to do something, process of becoming stronger and more confident.

3. Ministry- the word “ministry,” in the Greek (‘douleuo’- to serve as a slave), is essentially the same word used for “serving tables” —ministry is what we do for God’s glory based on where He has placed us, how He has gifted us, and what He has called us to do. Carrying forth Christ’s mission in the world.

4. Excellence- the quality of being outstanding or extremely good.

5. Leadership- the state or position of being a leader. Action of leading a group of people. Act of influencing or serving others out of Christ’s interest in their lives, so they accomplish God’s purposes for and through them.

6. Family - “what every family has in common is that the people who call it a family are making clear that those people are important in some way to the person calling them his family” “Two or more people who share goals and values, have long-term commitments to one another”

✨ A CELEBRATION OF DANCE, COURAGE & HOPE ✨

This month, our Rhythm of Hope Dance & Outreach students stepped onto the floor for their dance exams and what a blessed day it was! 🩰🤍

More than simply demonstrating technique, these girls were reminded of why they dance: with courage, with heart, and as an offering to God.

Before their exams, their teacher shared this beautiful message with them:

“Remember, courage in your heart makes your dance a gift to God.”

Alongside it was the promise of Psalm 16:7–8:

“I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.”

What a powerful reminder for our girls that they never dance alone. 🙏🏼

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

🩰 Formal exams are another milestone that help solidify the technical dance training worked on within the year.

🩰 They also provide objective, personal feedback from industry experts and are a great tool with which to measure personal progress.

🩰 They provide students with an opportunity to evaluate their sense of competence and their internal narrative as they need to be their own source of encouragement in a more pressured environment.

🩰 When students enter an exam room well-prepared and with confidence, they experience a great sense of achievement which can boost their relationship with themselves greatly.

You might’ve heard we’re on a new mission.

If you’re new here, here’s what you might’ve missed:

Previously, Rhythm of Hope operated as two separate pathways.

These have now been unified.

The studio is no longer a standalone destination but the starting point, activating dancers toward community outreach and mission work across Africa.

Stay tuned and follow along for more updates. We’re so happy you’re here! 🙏✨

In the spirit of Mandela Day this weekend, we want to share more about how we continue the heart of Madiba through our own outreach programme.

Previously, Rhythm of Hope Dance and Outreach operated as two separate pathways. These have now been unified for one great calling!

The studio is no longer a standalone destination but the starting point, activating dancers toward community outreach and mission work across Africa.

As the organisation has grown, the need emerged to clearly connect studio training, outreach, and mission work, enabling Rhythm of Hope to more effectively reach young dancers across Africa and mobilise them for meaningful impact.

If this is something that speaks to you, contact us to find out more about how you can join the programme or volunteer for the organisation.

One Rhythm. One Hope. One Mission.

This has been our vision for Rhythm of Hope and a new journey that we feel has been mapped out for us.

Over the new few weeks, we will be sharing more about our heart and the mission that we believe we are being called to.

Our dance school has never been one for trophies or competitions as we are called to a higher stage of recognition: our identity in Christ. 🙏

To live up to this, ROH Dance School and ROH Outreach will no longer operate separately but will become one shared story, training young dancers for this purpose and ultimately, their mission to impact communities and restore hope through the power of dance.

Come along and be moved by this new rhythm with us!
We are expectant and excited for what’s to come…

Team unity, growth and leadership; this sums up our experience in Eswatini 🇸🇿🙏

We really felt how our team was carried in prayer over these last few days. Divine unity, clarity and peace. Praise God who is the enabler of unity and peace! 🙌🏻

We are particularly impressed with our ROHO bursars (aged 15-19) who truly stepped up in teaching and ministering identity themes.

This is such a testimony to our work with them over the past 18 months to make a shift in them that although they are ‘recipients’ they can already be ‘contributors’. And we saw them stepping in with confidence and growing maturity.

God is truly doing a work in each of their hearts towards building His kingdom.

From the heart of the people, listen to feedback from Sisky’s Overcomer workshop during our Eswatini Mission to Mzansi ✨

Praise God for using us and working through us. Glorify his name for testimony! 🙏

We had immense favour at Sisky’s and were blessed and ministered to by them. 💕

Keep a look out for more highlights from our mission as we embark on the journey back home…
