Fifty years ago, students marched for the right to education, dignity and opportunity. Their courage became a defining moment in our nation's story.
At Damascus Sport, we believe their legacy lives on every time a young person chooses discipline over distraction, purpose over circumstance and growth over limitation.
Through boxing, sport and community development, we see first-hand how opportunity can change lives.
Every champion starts somewhere.
Sometimes it's in a gym.
Sometimes it's in a classroom.
Sometimes it's simply with someone believing in them.
Today we honour the youth who came before us, celebrate the youth among us, and invest in the youth who will lead us.
Because the future of South Africa isn't coming.
It's already here.
